December
This is the moon in the month of the Winter Solstice. Celebrated by many pagans as Yule, this is the time of the longest night and shortest day. To the ancient celts it must have seemed as if the night would last forever, and the sun might never return. They lit candles and bonfires to give power to the new sun/son of the Goddess struggling to be reborn on this cold, long night. In her hand the globe she holds is the "Child of Light", who has had many names in many religions; Mithras, Bel, Jesus, Ra, just to name a few.
Everything must be born, and anything born must have labor to make it come forth. What things are you working on that need a labor of love to able to come to fruition?
